Charitable action „Give a smile to a child’’ and an Annual Christmas Charitable Concert „Around states and continents”, December 22, at p.m. 2, VEF Kultūras pils (Ropažu 2). Entrance free;

„Give a smile to a child’’ Charity actions

Rendering financial and material support to:

• Children’s Care Center „Teika”;

• Special Children Kindergarten № 204 for children with eye-sight problems;

Projects of 2009:

• A Dance Joins Nations – devoted to the 45th anniversary of the Folk Dance Group’s „Ivushka” birthday, conducted by Valentina Laizane: a jubilee concert (24th of May, VEF Culture House).

• Charitable actions „Give a smile to a child’’ (May, December).

• “Holiday For The Family”: annual concerts - “ Spring Rainbow”(March-April), a concert devoted to the holiday „Defence The Children” ( May), a concert „Teacher’s Day” (October) and a concert „Around States and Continents” (December). Entrance to all concerts is free.

• Students’ projects: lectures of invited representatives of foreign educational establishments; technical equipment for practical studies; students’ orchestra; a piece of furniture.

• The First International Conference “Turkish Business, Trade and Culture. Ways of Cooperation”

• The 8th International Conference “Diversity between societies, nations and organizations”.

• An International Song Festival-Competition for national societies and organizations in Riga (June).

• Publishing an album of M.Churlionis paintings “A Kings’ Tale”.

• Jevgenija Smolianinova’s concert devoted to the 120th anniversary of Aleksander Vertinsky.

• Publishing an album „The World of my Friends” by a Latvian painter Filipp Shalajev;

• Publishing a trilogy “Great Writers”, “Great Musicians”, “Great Kings”by a journalist Natalja Voichenko and Sergey Tjulenev.

• Annual Awarding Ceremony of decorating with the International Culture Center RSEBAA Order.

Projects of 2008:

• The Folk Dance Group’s „Ivushka” visits to Daugavpils and Rezekne with concerts;
• Publishing a book „Chiriclora” (“A Bird) by Valdis Ruya, January;
• Spring Rainbow” an Annual Folklore Festival, March 23, VEF Kultūras pils (Ropažu 2). Entrance free;
• Annual Awarding Ceremony of decorating with the International Culture Center RSEBAA Order, April;
• Charitable action „Give a smile to a child’’ and an Annual Concert devoted to the holiday „Defence the children”, May 31, at p.m. 6, VEF Kultūras pils (Ropažu 2). Entrance free;
• The Folk Dance Group’s „Ivushka” visit to Czech Republic and participation in the International Musical Festival “Czech Tale” in July;
• An Annual autumn Festival „Teacher’s Day”, October 18, at p.m. 4, VEF Kultūras pils (Ropažu 2). Entrance free;
