 About us
The International Culture Center RSEBAA – is a unique students project of Riga International School of Economics and Busines Administration (RISEBA).
Conception: The International Culture Center RSEBAA touches upon the problem of culture ecology, while having been consentrated on the high self-satisfaction, searching for new culture forms, moral rules, feelings of duty and responsibility to the society, especially to children, dissapear gradually.
Modern cultural environment has become more complicated. In reality and on the screen the world of goodness has become very narrow, but examples of violence, agression and fear have increased.
Such qualities as kindness, duty, compassion, thankfulness, responsibility and shame are not any more in children’s spiritual mind.
That’s why the authors of the International Culture Center RSEBAA try to put all their efforts to involve children of different ages into participation, organisation and realisation of cultural and social events in order to develop their creativity and skills and to direct their energy into the path of creation not destruction, preventing drugs use and criminality;
Besides, the International Culture Center RSEBAA tries to help people of creative professions: artists, writers, painters, musicians, taking into consideration their difficult life position and ignorance to understand business world.
Goals of the International Culture Center RSEBAA:
• to promote integration process in Latvia and Europe;
• to develop cultural communications, creating favorable environment for dialogue and cultural mutual enrichment;
• to spread information about ways of life, customs, traditions and cultures of different peoples and nations;
• to demonstrate ability of a certain culture to accept achievements of other cultures;
• to involve broad layers of population into process of culture preservation and development;
• to involve children of different ages into participation, organisation and realisation of cultural and social events in order to develop their creativity and skills and to direct their energy into the path of creation not destruction, preventing drugs use and criminality;
• to draw attention to the social problems of the society. Target audience: diplomatic corps and embassies’ representatives, private and state structures’ leaders, businessmen, public organizations, national societies and educational institutions, politicians, boys and girls from children homes, boarding schools, teachers and pupils of Latvian, Russian and national schools of Latvia, parents, pensioners, sponsors, mass media representatives, students and others. Activities: The International Culture Center RSEBAA realizes its activities in the directions of social and national integration:
• Social assistance and Charity: Rendering financial and material support to the Children’s Care Center „Teika”; Special Children Kindergarten № 204 for the children with eye-sight problems; the theatre of invalids „Ligzda”;
• Culture and Art: to develop cultural communications, creating favorable environment for dialogue and mutual cultural enrichment; to elaborate common interests, values and aims which could unite everyone’s peculiarities, saving each one’s diversity;
• Education: publishing of books and organizing conferences and seminars; students’ practice;
• Children and Youth: Rendering financial and material support to the folk dance group „Ivushka”;
